THE JOB HOLDER

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Use security intelligence to conduct a detailed security risk assessment for FTEK & its villages and ensure there are robust measures to manage security.
Manage FTEK’s overall security risk profile.
Offer deterrent, response, and protective security services for FTEK’S operations by effective manning of FTEK’s sites compound, entry, and exit points.
Develop appropriate security policies & procedures. Ensure FTEK’s food defense system is robust enough.
Supervise FTEK premises security team including arranging effective patrol systems within FTEK villages.
Lead FTEK’s security team to ensure the safety of personnel, company property, & food (extracts).
As a member of the FTEK’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) & Crisis Management Team (CMT), ensure effective disaster response, business recovery, and continuity for the business during emergencies.
Enforce compliance with relevant security-related policies, procedures & standards.
Report all incidents and critical issues as per developed procedures. Be part of incident/accident investigation.
Supervise usage and/or monitoring of the CCTV system, access control, alarms, telecommunication systems, radios, and any other vital security equipment. Initiate incident response as appropriate.
Carry out investigations into reported cases of theft or any other security incidents.
Generate monthly security and fire reports and returns. Tracking of FTEK’s performance against its annual objectives.
Regularly perform basic tests on all security equipment and report any that is faulty/out of service.
Coordinating FTEK’s security-related activities/programs toward meeting annual strategic objectives.
Develop annual security objectives to be in line with organizational strategic objectives.
Carry out security-related training either individually or in coordination with HR or the training department.
Enforce proper management & compliance by contractors on-site
Support company/departmental initiatives and ongoing projects.
Support, Implement, and adhere to all food safety and Quality management system requirements.
